Many flowering trees populate the area with a unique beauty all their own. See first hand, the natural tree of Costa Rica, The Guanacaste (Enterolobium cyclocarpum), a native of Costa Rica, the Guanacaste was designated the National Tree on August 31, 1959. This historical and magnificent tree gives “Guanacaste Province” its’ name and can be seen throughout the region.
