Recreo offers you the amenities listed below (additional fees may apply) to enhance your experience while visiting us.
Welcome Center
The guest services manager is available to greet you in the welcome center for check in from 8am to 7pm. If you will be arriving after hours, please arrange this with the management directly. Upon arriving at Recreo, guests will be given a tour of their villa and are then free to enjoy the balance of their day exploring their surroundings.
Mountain Top Lookout
Pack a cooler with drinks and walk, bike, or drive the electric cart to one of the most beautiful places on the property to catch the sunset and the incredible views of the surrounding coastline. Enjoy a visual treat of yellow, orange and violet hues as the sun sets into the distance.
Private Plunge Pools
Each villa has panoramic views of the Guanacaste mountains, beaches and Bolanos Bay from private balconies and plunge pools.
Secluded Beaches
Recreo is steps away from two of the most spectacular beaches in the world. Playa Rajada and Playa Jobo are covered with white sand, and both offer the feeling of being on a secluded beach. Each villa includes beach towels and there are padded teak loungers available for sun bathing.
Eco-friendly Golf Carts
Guests can explore the estate and surrounding area with eco-friendly golf carts (additional fee applies), on foot, or via mountain bikes.
Fitness Center and Steam Room
The Fitness Center is adjacent to the tennis court and has a treadmill, free weights, universal weight system that offers over 40 exercises, punching bag, a sit up bench and an exercise bike along with a bathroom and steam room.
Tennis Court
The tennis court is adjacent to the fitness center, is competition quality and includes racquets and balls.
Kayaks
There are a total of five kayaks at Recreo, grab them from the trailer and launch at Rajada beach. Catch the views of the beautiful rock formations and marine life!
Horse Stables
Recreo’s docile horses are housed onsite is the horse barn located near the entrance to the estate. follow your experienced guide as you are lead through well marked trails from Recreo to El Jobo and then along the beach (additional fee applies).
Housekeeping
Daily housekeeping is included as part of your villa rental. Laundry service is also available for an additional fee.
Private Cook and Grocery Stocking Services
Guests who want to enjoy every minute of their vacation, may choose to add a private cook and grocery stocking services to their experience. This a la carte service includes a private cook, pre-arrival menu planning, 3 personalized meals per day, beverages, one prepared snack and self-serve snacks.
Spa Treatments
A la Carte Spa Services including massages and manicures are provided within the privacy of each villa or poolside (additional fee applies). Guests can indulge in an array of treatments to help relax and revitalize the mind, body and spirit.
Transportation Services
Recreo is located 1.5 hours from the Liberia International Airport. For guests not renting a car, transportation services are available for an additional fee and include round trip transfers from the Liberia and San Jose International Airports as well as to offsite excursions.
24 Hour Security
Recreo is a 63 acre gated mountain estate with full 24 hour security guards for your safety.
